Chinese modder Qingchen DIY has taken portable gaming to the extreme, creating a custom-built PC that packs desktop-level specs into a chunky, handheld-style form factor. Inside, you’ll find an Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU paired with a mobile GeForce RTX 4090 GPU – serious horsepower for a “portable” machine.
The device features a 12.5-inch 4K LCD display, 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM (upgradable), a 2TB SSD, and a 50Wh battery. Power draw can reach up to 175W, which means it’s happiest when plugged into an external power source for maximum performance.

Built on a Tongfang chassis, the system is essentially a heavily modified gaming laptop with a repurposed motherboard and cooling system, according to VideoCardz. Despite the high specs, thermal performance is impressive: in God of War and Horizon Forbidden West at 4K, GPU temps stayed under 72°C.

It’s not exactly pocket-sized – but for a modder’s portable powerhouse, it’s a pretty incredible feat. Think of it as a gaming laptop that hit the gym… and didn’t skip leg day.
