Microsoft is giving both gamers and creators new AI-powered toys to play with. This week, the company launched Gaming Copilot (Beta) and Copilot 3D — two features designed to make your virtual adventures and creative projects a whole lot easier.

Available now in Beta for Xbox Insiders on Windows PC, Gaming Copilot sits right in your Game Bar and knows exactly what you’re playing. It can track what’s happening on your screen, offer tips and tricks if you’re stuck, and now even talk back thanks to the new Voice Mode.

For creators, Copilot 3D in Copilot Labs can take any 2D image and instantly convert it into a 3D model — no complex modeling skills required. The tool outputs in GLB format, making it compatible with 3D printing, game design, art projects, and more.
Even better:

With these updates, Microsoft is making its Copilot AI just as useful in a dungeon crawl as it is in a design studio. While it’s still unclear whether these tools will require NPU-equipped devices or just an internet connection, they’re clearly part of Microsoft’s bigger plan to integrate AI into everyday PC use.
Looks like Clippy finally has a gamer cousin — and it knows your kill-to-death ratio.
