Battlefield 6 is off to a flying start. According to data from Alinea Analytics, the game has already racked up more than 600,000 pre-orders on Steam since sales opened on July 31. In revenue terms, that’s about $35 million in just two weeks — and that’s before console and EA app numbers are factored in.
Interest is just as strong on the wishlist front. Following the first public beta in early August, players added Battlefield 6 to their Steam wishlists over 2.7 million times. The shooter now sits comfortably in 7th place on Steam’s global top-sellers list, trailing titles like ARC Raiders, Borderlands 4, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
EA isn’t slowing down the hype train. The second phase of the open beta kicks off on August 14, bringing even more maps to try. The full release lands on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Looks like Battlefield 6 might be heading into launch with a very full lobby.
