Ahead of its July 11 global release, the upcoming Superman film \u2014 the first chapter in James Gunn\u2019s revamped DC Universe and the big debut of David Corenswet as Clark Kent \u2014 has gone through the CBFC scissors in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bollywoodhungama.com\/news\/bollywood\/exclusive-cbfc-deletes-33-second-long-sensual-visual-superman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">what got trimmed<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All foul language has been scrubbed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An eight-second gesture that was a little too cheeky? Gone. (Well, replaced by a shorter shot.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And the big one: a 33-second \u201csensual\u201d visual, split across two scenes, completely deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Insiders say fans at the July 9 premiere noticed the cuts \u2014 especially the edited kiss that felt a bit&#8230; awkward. So, yes \u2014 Superman still soars into theaters on July 11 as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CBFC edits aren\u2019t new for Hollywood blockbusters. Remember Thunderbolts losing its swear words? Or how Mission: Impossible \u2013 The Final Reckoning had to tone down language? Studios sometimes even play it safe by self-censoring \u2014 like Warner Bros. did with Brad Pitt\u2019s F1: The Movie and the upcoming Mickey 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bottom line?
