The European Citizens\u2019 Initiative has already gathered over 1.4 million signatures. If at least 1 million verified EU citizens sign, the petition will be submitted for review by EU authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement opposes practices where players lose access to purchased games after servers shut down. Its supporters argue for game preservation and consumer rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the campaign recently faced an anonymous transparency complaint, alleging undisclosed large donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative was strongly promoted by content creator Ross Scott, who urged gamers to sign, noting that many signatures could be invalidated due to technical errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
