The lawsuit was financially backed by Elon Musk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time, Carano claimed she was dismissed for expressing \u201cright-leaning views,\u201d while male colleagues were allegedly allowed to share their political opinions freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides have now confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/biz\/news\/gina-carano-disney-settle-mandalorian-firing-1236481982\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">that the matter has been resolved<\/a>. While the details of the agreement remain confidential, Disney stated they would be open to collaborating with Carano again in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGina Carano has always enjoyed the respect of directors and fellow cast members. She worked hard to hone her craft and treated her colleagues with kindness and respect.
