Of course, we dream of being in Cologne one day \u2014 to breathe in the atmosphere of Gamescom\u2019s halls and shake hands with the developers themselves. But for now, that dream is still out of reach. What we do have is tradition: since 2015, we haven\u2019t missed a single Gamescom stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"\ud83d\udd34 gamescom ONL 2025 Full Show: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil, Fallout, LEGO Batman\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/74oh7zD_jxI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of my former colleagues were lucky enough to be there in person. They interviewed CD Projekt Red, talked to the creators of Mount &amp; Blade, and brought home stories from the show floor. I, on the other hand, was always on the other side of the screen. My role was quieter: preparing interview questions, writing material for Devcom, coordinating authors during the streams, and publishing reports myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, it\u2019s different. For the first time in many years, I\u2019ll just sit back and watch Gamescom in the evening \u2014 as a fan, not as an editor. And honestly, I\u2019m hoping for fireworks. Maybe this Gamescom will finally rival, or even surpass, my personal benchmark of E3 2018 \u2014 still the most breathtaking show I\u2019ve ever experienced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tomorrow, my co-writer and I will put together a piece on the games that excited us most \u2014 and the ones that let us down. But tonight, as the smallest of teams, we\u2019re giving ourselves permission to simply enjoy the flood of trailers, announcements, and premieres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for watching Gamescom with us.
