ASUS’ Xbox-branded ROG Ally handheld — revealed in June — is reportedly set for an October 16 European release, alongside the higher-end ROG Ally X. The information comes from reliable leaker Billbil-kun via Dealabs, known for accurate hardware and game announcements.

The standard ROG Ally will feature an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD storage, while the Ally X will pack an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, 24GB RAM, and is aimed at “the most demanding players.”

Pricing is expected at €599 (around £520) for the base model and €899 (about £780) for the Ally X. Pre-orders are said to begin August 20, with an official announcement likely during Microsoft’s Gamescom showcase the same day.

Both devices run Windows 11 with a full-screen Xbox interface, support Xbox Play Anywhere titles, and offer an aggregated game library pulling from PC platforms like Steam, Battle.net, and GOG.
